Credenza Empire style
With black-green decorations of metal and carved wood. Three parts. The serving table hold by four bearded hermas, the plate at the backside with antiqued grid with two crossed Thyrsus staffs and garland of grapes, it is flanked by two detached altar-alike cabinets on lion feet, with garlands of grapes and palmettes, on them two candelabras in shape of antique tripods. The wooden, carved candelabras with arms of metal, coated in black-green, with porphyry-coloured plinth. German, around 1825. Present of King Ernst August of Hannover to his brother-in-law, the Grand duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. (Comp. H. Schmitz: „Deutsche Möbel des Klassizismus“, Stuttgart 1923, S.
