History of loss: According to court documents, one of the four cadastral volumes in which the provincial association recorded the deaths of transferred psychiatric patients during the Second World War was confiscated by the Allies and never returned. The remaining volumes probably passed into the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia and were lost there.
